1) I like commenting in list-format. Dude, like you're in freaking Budapest and you posted on time. My only excuse is that today has been an rife with EDS and I've been watching a lot of Castle.
2) I downloaded this album when you had mentioned that one of the bands you wanted to see live was 65DaysOfStatic; but not the Japanese release, so I didn't have this song. I'm starting to realize that I like music that has a constant thread throughout...I love the...I don't know how to describe it, but the steady yelping of the guitar. You can still make it out under all of the noise when the music builds towards the end. Like how some part of you is still always there despite all the crazy, or pressure or noise that threatens to engulf you. Haha, it's like I'm kind of just echoing what YOU said: "This song, I think, is a throbbing representation of a life, starting off slow and pushing through all the bullshit and chaos, but holding that throughthread of consonant melody, somehow, and ultimately winding up safe, sane, quiet, but unable to forget everything you've experienced" but, like I agree.
3) I used to be a big headphone sleeper too. I swear, ask my mom, I even wanted to invent "SleepPhones" that would be like cushioned so that you could wear them comfortably in bed whilst sleeping on your side.
4) I like being reminded of the fact that there are things that exist that can make us snap out of it; make us sit up and take notice.
