A lot to say about this POST, but I just wanted to comment and say that I'd never really listened to anything on this album aside from "So Alive," and this, coincidentally, goes beautifully with my "old music for new minds" post from last week. And more importantly, as I sit here listening to this song on repeat while I write a stupid paper on scientific culture, for some reason this song is encapsulating a "Steph song" [I...don't have any idea how to define that, I don't mean lyrically: there's something in, specifically, the really beautiful & melodic alt-rock songs (Wilco, Wild Beasts, TV on the Radio, Handsome Furs, Jason Falkner, etc.) you post that makes me think of you while I listen], and it is making me happy. So yay. And also, WHAT A FABULOUS SONG, PERIOD. Thank you. I will comment more later!
